Work ‘Em to Death

Senator Sky Damon believes that merely executing criminals is a waste of a potentially valuable source of human labor.  Many of those who commit heinous crimes could use their physical and emotional dysfunction and attributes to benefit the great American economic machine.  That's why he believes that the better alternative is to employ the condemned in the most dangerous, but important occupations- jobs such as exchanging fuel rods in nuclear power plants, or laboring in once valuable coal mines that have been needlessly shut down by government regulators.  Others may possess talents that can be developed to improve productivity on the kill floors of our nation's meat packing plants. And let’s not forget about two of the most dangerous professions: driving cabs and teaching in our public schools.
