County Naming Rights

It’s no secret that Iowa's rural areas are a potential gold mine waiting to be developed.  The problem is that rural areas are presently economically depressed, and small county governments are unable to provide needed revenue and services.  Senator Sky Damon proposes that the naming rights of these counties be sold to major corporations so that counties with such arcane names such as  Kossuth, Winneshiek and Allamakee can be given new highly recognizable names such as Hormel, Tyson, or Sarah Lee. The needed infusion of cash from major corporations, coupled with the Senator's bold agricultural policies, will bring about a rebirth in Iowa's depressed rural areas.
