Some Children Left Behind

While there is a lot of money to be made from compliance with NCLB (No Child Left Behind) by testing & textbook manufacturers, some children need to be left behind. We can’t all be doctors or lawyers. Someone’s got to mow our lawns, clean our houses, drive our cabs, dig our ditches, and teach our kids. So while the premise of NCLB is wrong, the results of all that testing will continue to insure that many children are left behind to do the jobs we need done. That’s what competition is all about…that’s what America’s all about.
